Yes, you need to get to the HOF to get the bonus.

I think its 100 trades and 1000 posts 
Once you reach the HOF level....1,000 post and 100 trades....it will increase to 250! Best regards, David

100 messages is a lot...after you respond to one, it doesn't take a lot to hit "delete"...but yes you get more room after hitting the HOF rankings.
