I have a NY Yankee ticket stub and would love to figure out what game it is from. Any info on this may narrow down the year or game played :
TIXSTUB0001.jpg
Game was #16 at Yankee Stadium
Ticket was $1.00 plus $0.10 tax for Grandstand(boy, 10% tax is a lot even now)
serial number on ticket is 05702 (don't know if this helps)

Any help out there???
Thanks, Mike

I took a look at those and didn't see one that matched exactly. The telling parts of the ticket seem to be:
1) some years around this time have the Yankee Logo in red stamped on the tix, mine does not
2) the "Rain Check" box has lines around it on some years, not on mine
The text for a regulation game begins with "after 4 1/2 innings..." mine does not.
3) Mine has the serial number stamped in red, some are in black.

Like you said, would probably be right after or right before that 1933 stub that was pictured. Thanks for the link and for looking. I wonder if there is a memorabilia specialist that specializes in Yankee stuff? Peace, Mike

Keep in mind that stubs for different sections/seats of Yankee Stadium had slightly different designs(grandstand, bleachers, etc). Without an exact date on the stub, and not being able to see if it had the owners signature on the bottom makes it real tough to nail down, IMO. Any text/ads on back that might help narrow it down further?
