Too new for Payton, too old for Hester and Forte. Unfortunately, no Urlacher either.

I do have the following Bears pub. covers:

Books:
1980 hardcover Football's Breakaway Backs Payton cover (library)

1986 Ditka-An Autobiography (library) hardcover w/DJ

1986 McMahon biography hardcover w/DJ

1969 Players' Choice Gale Sayers, etc. cover (top spine tear)

The following books came from a series titled Super Bears and published in 1986. There were seven books in the series. Walter Payton is missing. Subjects of the other six books are Richard Dent, Mike Ditka, Willie Gault, Jim McMahon, William Perry and Mike Singletary. Each book is a library edition, hardcover with normal markings.

Magazine Covers

February 2007 Sports Illustrated for Kids, Grossman cover No cards

September 2002 Sports Illustrated for Kids, Urlacher cover No cards

September 3, 2007 Sporting News, Urlacher cover

October 8, 2007 Sporting News, Devin Hester cover

2006 Pro Football Weekly NFL Preview, Urlacher/Favre cover

September 2005 Bear Report, Mushin Muhammed cover

Paul,

From your vintage lists, I found the following...

Ernie Banks, three cards
Bob Love
Chet Walker (leaders)
Tom Boerwinkle
George Connor
Dick Butkus
Johnny Morris

Let me know what you're willing to part with.

Thanks... and I went to bed shortly after my last message, so I'm sorry I didn't get back to you sooner.

Tony

Update

I've been out of town for the past week. Have you had a chance to look over any of the cards I have an interest in?
