Series 2 follows in the tradition of Series 1 - stiff, bright white base with a glossy HD action photo and sliver foil imprinting on the front of the card.
The reverse has stats both personal and pro along with a short write up of one facet of the player's career.

Series 2 - a very good issue for the Topps collector - lots of inserts and one receives a very good percentage of the base set with just one hobby box. 2 Hobby boxes should do it for most of us trying to build the base set. The player collector will have a number of parallels to chase - gold, black, pink, cammo, silk, and even 1 of 1's.
SP's - there are a number of SP's in the set - there are SP's with the player's autographing items, one with Ortiz standing in front of a giant US flag, and SP's that are close-ups of players with sunglasses on. I did not receive any SP's in this box.
Dang it!I do favor the die cuts as I have in the past. These to me are the coolest inserts.
The autos I have seen are all stickers - blue Sharpee auto stickers.
Overall grade A -- very good follow up issue to Series #1
Go buy several boxes and send all of the Rays parallels to me!!
