This year's Allen and Ginter follows in the foot steps of each of it's predecessors - thick manilla cards, simple design, and lots of info on the reverse. The base set has retired, current and rookies in baseball along with World Champions (leaders - standouts in their respective fields).
Allen and Ginter is one of those issues that one really doesn't know what is coming next - and that is it's appeal.

Side note -- one of the cooler mini's, that I have only seen, are the Constellations minis - they glow in the dark. At first the card looks to be blank, but upon closer inspection, one can barely see the constellation and in the dark.... it shines!! Well done!

Allen and Ginter appeals to many types of collectors (I know one feller that has opened 40 boxes -- 4 cases!!- needless to say he is obsessed, loves Allen and Ginter, and waits like a 4 year old on Christmas day for the cards to arrive.)
I like the eclectic autos and vast array of relics - from fighters, to actors, to surfers, to musicians, comics, - just about any profession is included.
Autos come in various forms as well - including on card mini's, regular size cards, framed silver ink (numbered) even autographed box toppers if I am not mistaken.
Overall grade A
Go buy several boxes (cases) to see what you might pull - send the Rays parallels to me - who knows you might get fortunate and pull a Mayweather auto - been told it's going for $800 or so!!
