by , 11-28-2012 at 09:22 PM (The Mailman is 2 seconds late already (worldwideed's TTM & Autograph blog))
Larry Bowa return in just 7 days, that includes Thanksgiving and a weekend. WOW!!
Off to Roy Cey or Sal Bando tomorrow, I'm still deciding.

I also scored this Rafael Carmona auto I needed off of eBay, arrived today.
  2. Arizona Fall Leaugue Mariners retruns

by , 10-30-2012 at 11:36 AM (The Mailman is 2 seconds late already (worldwideed's TTM & Autograph blog))
    All c/o Peoria Javelinas
    Mike Zunino!!
    Stefen Romero
    Logan Bawcom
    Bobby LaFrombise

Unfortunately, all but the Bawcom have some ink bleed problems. I don't know if it's the ink, paper, or envelops that is causing this but I'm really not thrilled about it, although I'm always happy to get returns. I just have this feeling that Zunino will not be a good signer and I won't be able to get him again, mine is then only success I'm aware of for him TTM.

  3. 5 very tough Mariners today and bad return

by , 10-06-2012 at 04:20 PM (The Mailman is 2 seconds late already (worldwideed's TTM & Autograph blog))
First the bad return: Andrew McCutchen. After reading a tweet this spring about how much he liked pull and seal envelopes and seeing some successes registered on the internets (GWB reference) I was very excited and immediately got a request in the mail, but alas it was not meant to be. It was returned from Pitt and in my SASE. I imagine he gave someone a few bucks to open his mail and return it for him before he left for the year. Unlike most people I have no problem and don't take it personal when ...
  4. Mariner #627 Jamie Nelson

by , 10-02-2012 at 01:19 AM (The Mailman is 2 seconds late already (worldwideed's TTM & Autograph blog))
The more I add to the collection the harder it is to find autos I need-duh!
Most every auto I add to the Mariners collection from here on out will either be a rookie or an extremely tough to find auto, unfortunalty the latter usually means expensive as well. I was lucky enough to get this one for just $4 delivered from someone on SCN. An ebay search for Jamie Nelson auto* reveals one hit for $7 and it's a personalized index card, so I'm pretty pleased with this deal.
