The Mailman is 2 seconds late already (worldwideed's TTM & Autograph blog)

I have too many autograph interests to fit in just one spot. I have a web site for my Seattle Baseball Autographs and a facebook page to support it.
This leaves a huge hole in my record keeping because I also collect the following:
1964 Topps, 1973 Topps, 1974 Topps, 1990 Leaf, 1995 Leaf, Various Action Packed cards, All-Stars. and Mariners prospects

  1. Another Zunino return

About a month ago I was very excited to get a Mike Zunino, among others, return from the AFL, my excitement was tempered some when I realized that the ink on the printout had smeared some leaving the card looking a little off. Well, I just go this back. It was sent on 8/8/12 to Mike when he played in Everett, he returned it today from his Florida home. This copy is much better than the other so I'm very pleased to get it back.

Off to Roy Cey or Sal Bando tomorrow, I'm still deciding.

I also scored this Rafael Carmona auto I needed off of eBay, arrived today.

    Dick Green 2/2 c/o home
    1970 Topps- I could trade this for a 73 or 74 that I don't have

    1974 All-Star Ballot

I'm going to send the ballot to as many great signers that are on it, by my count about 13 more.
I was thinking about punching out the chad for each person that signed it, that ...
  4. Arizona Fall Leaugue Mariners retruns

by , 10-30-2012 at 12:36 PM (The Mailman is 2 seconds late already (worldwideed's TTM & Autograph blog))
    All c/o Peoria Javelinas
    Mike Zunino!!
    Stefen Romero
    Logan Bawcom
    Bobby LaFrombise

Unfortunately, all but the Bawcom have some ink bleed problems. I don't know if it's the ink, paper, or envelops that is causing this but I'm really not thrilled about it, although I'm always happy to get returns. I just have this feeling that Zunino will not be a good signer and I won't be able to get him again, mine is then only success I'm aware of for him TTM.
  5. 5 very tough Mariners today and bad return

First the bad return: Andrew McCutchen. After reading a tweet this spring about how much he liked pull and seal envelopes and seeing some successes registered on the internets (GWB reference) I was very excited and immediately got a request in the mail, but alas it was not meant to be. It was returned from Pitt and in my SASE. I imagine he gave someone a few bucks to open his mail and return it for him before he left for the year. Unlike most people I have no problem and don't take it personal when ...
