    Well, sort of, right? In case you weren't up at 4am this morning to watch the start of the 2014 MLB season live from Australia, Clayton Kershaw apparently brought a smile to the faces of Dodgers fans (and those who made him a first-round fantasy pick), leading the Dodgers over the D'backs, 3-1.

  3. My Office

    With a wife and two boys, I have exclusive domain over just one room in our house. I call it my "office," but it's pretty much just a walk-in closet down in the basement. This is where I keep most of my baseball cards.

    My wife likes things orderly, while I am not averse to clutter. Actually, I'm a slob. My office is the one place where I can let chaos reign.

  5. Pine Tar Game



    When I was a kid, I had a Wilson glove "Endorsed by George Brett." This was the guy who batted .390 in 1980, jacked long home runs, and made diving plays at third. George Brett was cool.

    On the other hand, as a Red Sox fan, I was not a fan of Billy Martin… the on-again, off-again, dirt-kicking manager of George Steinbrenner's Yankees. Billy Martin was not cool.
