Welcome to The Bench. Sports card trading and talk community.

For all the established members that have been with us for the past 10 years, things are
going to look a little different around here. Might take some time to get used to your surroundings, but rest assured all of our features are still present. Quite a bit of work has gone into keeping the site just like it used to be, but with a breath of fresh new features for you to enjoy.

The old BLUE Navigation bar is no longer here. The links are now condensed in some drop down menus. The community tab within the forums store all of your familiar links. Collector's Database, TTM address, Help Desk, Bench Hall of Fame.

The UserCP page is long gone. In it's place is the "My Profile" located at the top of the screen next to the log in box. From there you have multiple tabs:

Activity is like your Subscribed Threads
Trading your trade data
I Collect your collecting interests
Awards your site awards (benchies etc...)

Please report any errors you may find during this process, as it will help us address them.

Awesome job on the webpage - it looks great! I do have one question though - the old look had all the quick links at the bottom of each post (PM/Trade/B. Page/etc...), which I don't see anymore. I saw that you can get straight to a PM or someone's www as options under their name, but the User Page and Trade options were not available. Also, I don't see where I can update my User Page in the "Settings" menu... Is that something that has gone away? Please let me know if I'm overlooking something. But, awesome work on the site - it looks very clean and professional! Thanks for all of your hard work! Brian

Ahhh to much change haha

This is going to take me a while to figure out where everything is now. Sorta like when FB made me switch over to Timeline haha

So far i found out how to access everything but the bench user page but something tells me that is no more..good thing i copied and pasted it to notepad but if someone knows how to access it please let me know

The User Pages are gone...BUT in it's place is the new Blog system. Within the Blogs is an option to create up to 10 custom pages. You can use these for wantlists. I will be creating one as a tutorial shortly. Stay tuned.

Hi,

In the new "Trade Manager" under "Receiving", it now shows the cards that were sent rather than the cards that are incoming.

Trade Manager should now be working properly. Working on adding the Printer Friendly option.

When you click on someones user name, there is now a drop down menu, and one of the options is "visit homepage"

By clicking on a members username you can set up a trade send a pm/email or many other options

Click forums and scroll to the bottom of the page, or in the nav bar Forums >Quick Links>Whos Online

I don't get any of this. After reading Welcome to the New Bench, I still can't find where TTMs are and I can't find how to check my current threads or posts. What drop down menus??? this is really confusing!!!! Arghhhhhh.

I do not see a print trade button that we had before. Trying to print up an invoice.

That is still on the to do list, The Printer friendly option
