Answers

  1. What are the submission requirements for scans?

The submission requirements are simple, yet each user must pay attention to detail. First, all sets submitted must be at least 33% complete. Autographed and Game Used Sets can include as many cards as necessary. Please keep insert sets under 30 cards. ALL CARDS MUST HAVE AN INDIVIDUAL SCAN. Please do not submit 5 cards as one image, as the submission will be rejected. Only scan the card itself, do not include holders or stickers on the case, etc (without prior approval). [Back]

  2. What information should I attach aside from the card scans themselves?

Please include in the e-mail the Year, Brand, Set Name, Your Bench ID, E-mail address, and any special notes about the set (#'ing, etc) [Back]

  3. How many sets can I submit?

You can submit one complete set per e-mail. You can submit as many sets are you wish, as long as you own them, and they are sent in individual e-mails. [Back]

  4. Are there any fees or longetivity requirements to submit sets?

No and no. The Bench Set Gallery was created to provide a setting for all to view, share, and enjoy the collections that so many collectors have strived hard to piece together. Like the main Bench site, there are no fees, and any member can submit files (as long as they are in the proper format). [Back]

  5. Where do I e-mail the scans for submission?

All submissions should be sent to coryurban@yahoo.com. Please include all required information. [Back]

  6. What about player collections or themed collections?

Player collections are welcomed, as long as they are composed of certified autographs, game used, or both. Theme collections (aka Hall of Fame, etc) will be accepted on a per-collection basis. [Back]

  7. I have submitted cards, but do not see them on the gallery yet. Why are they not posted?

The Bench Gallery is ran in my free time. When I receive submissions in which the images are of the wrong or unacceptable size, I put them dead last on the priority list to post. It takes quite awhile to resize a group of images, and I feel that the person submitting the images should resize, if they are able to. Other than that, if your submission is not posted, I probably have just not had time to post the exact submission. [Back]
