The Ones That Got Away

I have very few regrets in life. I can actually count them on one hand. Two of them are baseball card related.

Competition Breeds Excellence (Especially in the Card Industry)

Topps has gotten lazy. Sure Panini releases baseball cards but they look like something I pulled out of a box of cereal in 1990. No flare. No team names or logos, so essentially I don't even view them as a legitimate brand in the baseball market. Secondary market sales of these cards would suggest that many collectors out there feel the same way. After taking a couple year break from baseball card collecting, I recently jumped back in with both feet.
