The Curious Case of Anthony Rizzo

On Tuesday, I had to swing by Wal-Mart to pick up a few things on my way home. I stopped by the baseball card aisle and grabbed a couple of rack packs of 2010 Bowman Draft Picks and Prospects which had been marked down from $5 to $2.98 as I made my way to check out.
I opened my two packs in the car. I got a few nice cards including a Tyson Ross blue parallel and a Mitch Moreland RC that I can use for IP graphing sometime, but largely my haul wasn't anything special.
2013 Littleton Reserve Base Card Design
A few weeks ago, I began kicking around some ideas for my new custom design for this year. I was asked by my good buddy CW13 to make a custom for UNC standout Colin Moran, so I decided I was going to try something completely different. Something just wasn't quite right with the way it turned out but I was under a bit of a time crunch so I had to just grit my teeth and finish it. I knew that wasn't what I wanted from my new set and it annoyed me so that I stayed up until 4 a.m. creating this:

A fairly nontraditional TTM signer, Surhoff apparently go the itch in 2012 because he started signing like crazy. As another prominent player from my youth, I was excited to add him to my collection.
