I didn't have many trades with him but I always enjoyed his banter with Steelers fans with ChiefTaz being the primary recipient.

His current signature reads, "2011 the Year of Peace, Love and Soul!"

Well, he's found his peace. Hopefully the rest of the world can do the same!

Sorry to hear. I know you and he had a pretty fun rivalry going. It sounded like he struggled with his weight and it makes you realize how important it is to keep yourself as healthy as possible. I know I could stand to do more for my health. We never traded, but he certainly enjoyed the site and the company. RIP.

That is horrible unexpected news. Randy has been such a big part of this site the whole time I have been on here (since 2003). I will really miss the big guy.

Tom - Please let me know if you, or anyone here, will be putting together a fund, flowers, card, etc for the family.

Trade intersts: Lou Gehrig, HOF Jerseys and autos, and want list items.

I Thessalonians 4:11-12 - Make it your ambition to lead a quiet life, mind your own business, and work with your hands, just as we have told you, so that you will win the respect of outsiders and not be dependant on anyone.

Wow....really shocked here after reading this news. Randy has been a long time member here and a Mod for a very long time as well. He had a big love of sports and collecting and it showed thru his posts here. Over the years Randy has sent me various Negro League items from time to time and I always appreciated each and every one. I once sent him a signed Eric Davis jersey that was laying around here because I knew he liked the Reds and Davis. The reaction from him was priceless, a true fan of the game and collecting.

Even though Randy and I butted heads sometimes about Mod stuff when the smoke cleared I felt like there had been no damage done, I sure hope that was the case at least and there were no lingering hard feelings on his side.
