Roger Craig was a very talented pitcher. The fact the Dodgers left him unprotected in the expansion draft gives you some idea of the depth of the Dodgers pitching staff at that time. Yes, I know he lost 20 for those expansion Mets, but think about this. You have to be pretty darn good to lose 20 in the show. That's why they kept giving him the ball.
