    All about that base (cards)

    Hi gang,

    Not sure if this is the right place for it, but here's a story I wrote for Sports Collectors Daily about a card shop in Hamilton, Ontario, whose owners took unwanted base hockey cards from box & case breaks, sold them and used that cash to buy toys for a local social services agency:

    Cool story. A lot of the cards I don't want/need get donated to our church to be distributed as part of the Sunday School Bible Bucks program. An easy way to get cards into the hands of younger collectors and get them hooked.
    Building Topps sets from 1969 to the present. Always looking for Puckett cards.
