Hi !! I was wondering if anyone had any info on the giveaways from the 2008 National Sportscard convention. I have a 2008 Topps Chrome Justin Verlander # 135 with The National Sportscard Convention on the front of the card . can't seem to find out much . Any help is appreciated. !!!! THANKS !!!
 
I was there and didn't remember these, but I found this in the description of an ebay listing of a team set:
"Collectors owe a debt of gratitude to collector and longtime dealer Kevin Savage for his enterprise. In 2008 Topps issued a special edition of its 2008 Chrome set by printing "The NATIONAL Sports Collectors Convention" - in gold foil - at the bottom of just 300 uncut sheets. Mr. Savage acquired many of the sheets and had them professionally cut into standard 2-1/2" by 3-1/2" cards."
