Inception is a premium issue, printed on very thick stock. The front is a dark with an artistic background. The player pic doesn't 'pop' as it does on other issues. The reverse has personal and career pro stats along with 'Inception Point.'

Inception will be a very good issue for the player collector and not so much for the set builder. Should one want to build one of the parallel sets, there will be a lot of hunting, depending on the color you choose to build. Parallels include green, purple, magenta, red, orange, blue -- plus printing plates and autos in various colors...

Also included are jumbo patch pieces and some are autographed along with auto'd letter book and even an MLB patch book -- how sweet would that be to pull????

Purple parallel#ed to 150 - Luke Weaver

Trey Mancini #ed to 250

Overall grade B+ -- too dark for my taste....

Go buy several boxes(packs) see if you get an Othani or a Trout auto'd jumbo jersey piece!!

Duane, cool stuff. But I am with you on how dark they look. I myself have really never gotten into the stuff like this, or Topps Fire, or sets like them. I like the naturally, clean photography.....again, I was the person who loved Stadium Club when it came out in '91.

At least you pulled some Cardinals!!!!

I believe I still have an unopened box of 91 Stadium Club.... I loved it as well.

Do you want the 2 Weaver cards?

Duane

Dont know if i have anything close but would the Mancini be up for trade please let me know and thank you

Nice review - feel like I am in the minority, but I like the darker feel to the card. A little sinister, a little different than what we are used to seeing in card design.

If the Judge is available for trade - can take a look and see what Rays stuff is laying around. Thanks.

With a severe lack of Rays in the set for me to find.... I will probably hang on to the Judge for a bit.

Sure thing. Thanks, Tony.

Also, I am curious what the cost of a pack is. I mean, I know it is a gamble about hitting big, but how much does it cost to get a pack that has a Mancini auto along with a few serial numbered cards and some base?

$60+ here in O'do.
