Big League -- (inspired by Alan N - relatively sure!!! ) -- great set for the beginning or the younger collector. The set includes veterans, rookies, and retired greats of the game. This is an excellent way to learn some of the history of this great game.

The cards are simple in design with a semi gloss front and reverse. The front features an action shot and the RC designation if the player is a rookie. The team logo is prominently featured as well. The reverse has complete playing stats, short write up of a highlight, and a Did You Know? question and answer. The numbering is easy to read and clear. One should be able to come very close to a set with as few as 2-3 boxes.

So close, but wrong Torres!

I would like to try to trade for the trout and Seager inserts.

LOL, don't know how much these run a box, but looks like my kind of product. I like the look of the base set.

I understand that autos come about 1 out of 10 to 15 boxes... I would have wanted the golds #ed like they are in the base set. Pretty fortunate to receive an auto.

I think my LCS has them for $55 or so a box.

The retail blasters of this product are cheap and great for kids. Each blaster has a ‘cutout’ card on the back. My son wanted Trout and we dug through and found one. Plus he pulled a retail blue Acuna RC parallel and was thrilled.
