Hey Boots, I have a little known factoid about Pete Alonso for you. Unlike Clay Bellinger's dad Clay, Pete Alonso's dad Mr. Alonso, did not grow up in Oneonta.

If Alonzo Mourning known as "Zo" is Pete Alonso known as "So"?

    Inquiring mind wants to know.

I feel Zo-So about that. But, I'm ignoring you!
And, of course, he is no Clay Bellinger!

Well that goes without saying! Clay Bellinger has 2 World Series rings and loser "So" has zero.

Cody continues to rake, though his average has dipped a bit. Maybe a hot streak can get him closer to .400 as he gets deeper in the season.
On a tangential note, and something I overlooked due, in part to Bellinger's monster season, is that Austin Meadows of the Rays is hitting .357! He's in only his second season.

Alonso hits # 21. Now second in NL in HRs, as Mets beat Rox!

Alonso hits # 24. Only Yelich has more home runs in MLB.
