Ian Bedel 11/12 l is a 2018 RHP with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Davenport, IA who attends Davenport Central HS. Athletic build with good strength and the potential for more. Loose and long arm action, lots of arm speed, 3/4's arm slot. Fastball topped out at 94 mph, lots of running and sinking action. Slider is his best secondary pitch, good velocity with a deep sweeping action, good sharpness. Get me over curveball not as sharp or tight. Tended to slow arm a bit on change up with some fading action. Moves the ball around and gets lots of life on his pitches, has the weapons to mix. Good student, verbal commitment to Missouri. Jonathan Childress is a 2018 LHP with a 6-4 215 lb. frame from Forney, TX who attends Forney HS. Long and loose athletic build, good present strength, very long arms. Creates outstanding angle from a high 3/4's arm slot, hides the ball well in back, good lower half coil, clean arm coming through, repeats his delivery well. Fastball topped out at 93 mph, works fastball to both sides of the plate. Curveball is a potential plus pitch, has tremendous feel for it and can change the shape and velocity at will while throwing strikes. Triston Casas 1/25 is a 2018 3B/1B with a 6-4 238 lb. frame from Pembroke Pines, FL who attends American Heritage HS. Extra long and large athletic build, has really done a good job of streamlining and strengthening his body over the last year, showing big gains in athleticism.
