No from me. I don't think he is even close. The next Expo to get in will be Vlad and I really hope they put him in as an Expo!

Yes, he's worthy but I don't know if he will ever get in. Players like him don't get the appreciation they deserve although he did hit close to 200 HRs.

I think that Raines is deserving and that he will eventually get in.

His vote totals show that his candidacy is slowly-but-surely overcoming having played in the relative obscurity of Montreal:

    2009: 22.6%
    2010: 30.4%
    2011: 37.5%
    2012: 48.7%

I guess we'll see whether Raines can keep up the positive momentum in 2013 with such a crowded ballot (including Bonds, Clemens, Piazza, Biggio, Bagwell and Morris, among others). If he can, there aren't too many guys who've gotten more than 50% of the vote and didn't eventually get in.

I love the exclamation point after "maybe" in the poll .

    I am undecided!!!

Great speed and hitting ability. No real power numbers, but maybe that's a good thing for a player from that era . I think he'll get in eventually.

I think his problem was like Andre Dawson they played outside of the U.S...and thats why Dawson took so long to get in..does Raines deserve to be in the hall yes with the numbers he put up..but what could be hurting Raines chances that he played on 6 different teams..he'll eventually will get in.
