Old timers tend to sign in ball point, which appears better on vintage cards than sharpie in my opinion.....I remember someone posted a thread on here not long ago about sharpie bleed or spray on the older cards, it soaks in differently I feel, even as recently as 84 Topps, and that era. I am sure this is a topic for another forum, but Brian's post put me in mind of that!
