Pretty cool how Anthony Munoz prominantly appears on this 1982 Topps card which is the set where his RC appears.

Oh man, The Silverdome. I can't believe it was vacated and demolished so long ago. Talk about how times have changed, I was going to Lions games at this time and tickets were $5 and $12 then. Hard to imagine now.

That is awesome! Hard to believe the guy who led the Chicago Cardinals to their only NFL Championship in 1947 just passed away a year and a half ago 2 months shy of his 101st birthday!

Not sure what is harder to believe if the fact that Trippi lived to 100 after playing in that extremely rough era or that the Cardinals have not won an NFL Championship since 1947!!

I have the 1950 Bowman Trippi - not in the mood to dig it out and post it. That team also had Pat Harder, Paul Christman and Marshall Goldberg.
