I know I can edit a post, but can I delete one? I have a "One and done" post, which has been completed, so I want to remove it to avoid further inquiries. If you can help, let me know. Thanks.

No you cannot delete a post, only a moderator can delete a post. If a post is deleted, it will also delete post counts from your post total. We prefer not to delete a post. The thread can be closed by a moderator as well.
You can edit not only the opening post of your threads but you can also edit the title of the thread by clicking the "Go Advanced" button.
