7/11 a really nice Dodger return

Roy Gleason, sent on 7/5, received today (7/11).

Roy Gleason was featured on MLBTV and I was really touched by his story. His baseball career was cut really short (one at bat) when he was drafted and sent to Vietnam. If you can catch the clip, very much worth watching.

I sent him the only two cards I could find and he included the note and extra photo.

That is one cool success! I never even knew he had a card.

For those of you who don't have MLBTV, and want to learn a little more about Mr. Gleason, you can check out the link below. A true American hero, to say the least. I loved the part of the story where he throws out the first pitch at Dodger Stadium and Vin Scully tells him over the loud speaker to stay on the field. If that doesn't touch your heart it ain't beating.
