I have been collecting since I was 6 and now I am 16 and my brother is 11 and has been collecting since he was 6 or 7. Collecting in my opinion has given me something to work towards and provided all my current work ethic. If I wanted to buy a pack a cards I knew I was going to have to work for it and I think that unless you have rich parents the rapidly rising card prices are a turn off but give more incentive to want to buy packs. Growing up in the 2000's I never have opened a pack without hoping to pull a jersey or auto and I don't know any other way. I like the rush of opening packs and I know I will continue to do so.
