I have seen this debated on other boards and the overwhelming opinion is that they are not signed by Brett but by someone else. I'm no expert on his autograph so I don't want to offer an opinion.

A report on SCN says that "Brett" is no longer signing autographs as he has been sued for this forgery scandal. We'll see how this turns out...

Ummmmmmm, I'm not going to say it is, and I'm not going to say it's not, but...did George recently change his sig?????????????? I mean the guy hasn't had a sig change since late '76!!!!!!!

Seriously though, if you are going to charge any amount for charity for your autograph you should actually do the signing. I hope in the end it all works out for Brett and those who feel they've been wronged. Honestly, this whole thing is sad. Just sad.

This Brett autograph was obtained in-person at the KC Royals Fantasy Camp this past January. Only 10 months ago....

I read the post on the other forum with interest. There are several things that don't make it legit including the "e Br" combo on my sig and the same thing on the autos in question.

WIll be interesting to see how this turns out.....
