Houston Astros at Colorado Rockies
June 17th, 18th

Dallas Keuchel 1/3
Brett Oberholtzer 1/2
Chad Qualls 1/1

The 2nd Correa didn't come out great as he ran with someone else's sharpie that happened to be a piece of crap.

Cool, keep us updated as to whether Don signs or not!!

God Bless,

Kevin Mc

Don did sign as has been the case the last couple of years when Braves are in town. He's a super nice guy and signed for anyone who asked. Quality Hall of Famer and a former Dodger to boot!

That is so cool, I love to see that kind of thing from HOFers who are great to the fans! It is true that the HOF tag can bring some real money in for a former player, so glad to see that Don is willing to sign!

Thanks for posting, its fun to see your great successes!

God Bless,

I gotta ask, do you just use a regular blue sharpie? Those sigs are always thick and dark, I use a normal blue sharpie and mine seem to not come out as good.

Yes just a regular sharpie. Sharpies do lose their depth and get streaky pretty easily especially when you have cards that have been prepped (baby powder) so the key is to have multiple pens and test them and stick to your best one(s). I actually like thinner points but you tend to get a lot more streaks and/or sigs lacking 'sizzle' if the player signs fast or doesn't apply enough pressure.

Also might help if you have your cards in a binder or some other holder so that there is a solid backing to the cards when signing so that card and pen can make good solid contact.
