Took the family to the Peoria Chiefs game on Sunday May 18. You gotta love minor league promotions. Kids tickets were $5 which included a free hot dog, soda, and chips. It was youth jersey give away, Rob Kaminsky poster give away, and team auto day. The Chiefs line up on the field for 15 minutes before the game for anyone to get autos. We were about 20th in line, but were able to get to everyone. There was an older couple behind us that was trying to take pics with every player. I do not think they could name a single one. Anyway, I printed an 8x10 logo sheet that my son got 23 autos on. My daughter and I got these cards:

Alex Reyes was not in the auto line, but we saw him charting pitches late in the game. Nice guy, very quiet

This was the first time I used a Staedtler Pen on cards instead of a sharpie. For comparison the McElroy with sharpie is on the right. I am undecided on which I like best. I like the thin auto from the Staedtler, but the bolder look of sharper. Anyone else have any opinion?

Nice job..I like staedtler when i have a bunch of cards i dont want to prep...but for some reason i still like the bolder look of the sharpie

Love the look of a brand new sharpie, but I remember a signing my wife and I went to with Steve McMichael from the 85 Chicago Bears, and he travels with about 50 different pens, and has someone sit with him and hand him different pens, sharpie, paint, thin, thick, etc. based on what he is signing. I always wondered what happened to old sharpies that didn't have a good tip, but I think McMichael has them all!

Great successes, by the way!
