2011 Topps Series 1 Baseball Question

In the 2011 Topps Series 1 Baseball, I've noticed a few rookies that I've gotten have what looks like a trophy on the card that says Rookie, but the majority of rookies have what looks like a shield that says RC. Why the trophy on some of the rookies? Thanks, James

    Otto Graham

Great article. Thanks for sharing. If Topps didn't have the NFL contract, why then were all the other players in their 1956 FB set except for Otto Graham I wonder?

My wife collects too, only she collects the "New" stuff. I collect vintage FB. My wife is determined to do a complete 2006 Donruss Classics FB set. She also collects Lance Berkman cards. She also loved the 2007 Goudey Baseball, and some Hockey cards. Besides vintage FB, I collect Hall of Fame...

    Who do you collect? Why?

Otto Graham, who I consider to be the greatest QB of All-Time Leo Nomellini one of the All-Time great DT's, my grandafther would tell me stories about how good he was. NFL Hall of Fame players from the 20's-70's. Set wise, working on the 1954 Bowman FB set.

    Otto Graham

He retired AFTER the 1955 season, so his last year card should be in the 1956 set, but why it wasn't I would like to know?

    Otto Graham

Hey all, I have always wondered why Topps did not have Otto Graham in their 1956 Football set, when Graham's final year in the NFL was the 1955 Season? Thanks.
