Calvin "Pokey" Reese was a great prospect that got one of the greatest DP partners to start his career (Barry Larkin). He ended getting traded twice and then granter his release within a week during the 2001 offseason, only to end up in Pittsburgh. With limited playing time, he ended up getting a 1 year deal from the '04 Red Sox: where it ended up his last at bat was in the WS. Injuries ultimately kept him out for 2005, was unable to find a team in 2006 & 2007, and played in the minors in 2008 before retiring. At least he went out on top (kind of)!
