I certainly couldn't hurt to give him a try c/o Mets, but I wouldn't send cards. He has never liked signing baseball cards.

He's in charge of the Rusty Staub NY Police/Fire Widows Fund or something like that. I sent him a donation to that address last summer with a success in 49 days. I didn't record the address, but I'm sure you could find it on Google (that's how I dug it up).
