Opening Vintage unopened packs experiences?

What was the oldest unopened pack of cards you opened recently?
What was the oldest pack (at the time) you ever opened? Not packs you had when they were new (like a 1972 pack in 1972), but, for example, if you had a 1972 pack today.
Wondering if you remember what you got when you opened them.

2 years ago I opened up a wax box of 1975 Topps Football

nothing much. I opened a 1985 Topps Rack box in 2002 or 2003. Pulled 2 Pucketts, 2 Clemens, 1 McGwire. 1 Clemens was pretty good, but the McGwire, both Pucketts, 1 Clemens and about 80-85% of the box was off center anywhere from 75/25 to 95/5. The premium for unopened these days keeps me from repeating that mistake

Opened a pack on 87 Topps a few months ago and chewed the gum.

It seemed to disappear when chewed.

About 4 years ago a 1976 Topps Star Trek pack, pristine cards and sticker.
In the last couple of months three 1978 Topps Battlestar Galactica packs that I got on eBay, only got a single need and all the packs had undisclosed water damage with the stickers, which are the most valuable in these non-sport sets, completely ruined.

LOL, thats gross. I once thought baout doing that when I opened a pack of 88 or 89 football. Decided against it though..
