THe mound was lowered in 1969 after the McClain 31 wins and Gibson's insane 1.12 ERA in a season he had 12 losses!!! Pitching got diluted as well with expansion teams Expos, Royals, Padres and the legendary Seattle Pilots entering MLB.

Thats quite an undertaking to collect the whole autograph set. Kudos to you.
The whole set has been fun to try for a master set. I have the entire base set, the proof set (274/275) numbered to /100, all the insert sets and 12 of the 20 HOF autos (all number /20 or less). The last remaining regular autos are mostly /15 or less, so I’ll be dead before I collect them all!

Until than, one of the finds from todays trip to The Philly Show. Needed 4 cards to finish up my 1976 set - this one was the big boy. Not perfect, but decent centering, decent corners, decent color - 1976 Eck.
